Dually uses Valvoline only because that's what my local GM
dealer uses and they are the ones that change the oil in it.

I am running Mobil 1 synthetic oil.

Chevrolet is requiring an expensive oil ($60/oil change) to maintain a warranty. Good Year found out about it 4 months into the year.

I Deal with the dealerships as little as possible.

I do my own oil change and it cost me about half of that with Amsoil. Probably less.

The 2011 and newer GM vehicles require dexos 1 specification oil. As long as the oil bottle has dexos 1 on the label you will be fine. AMSOIL meets that spec in the OE, XL and Signature Series lines.

Must be nice to get away with only 5 quarts... The new Nox V6 takes 6.. So I split a case of 12 for the Nox and the blue truck costing me about $25 each vehicle.
