I recently purchased an extra 5 button key transponder for my 2011 Nox LT. It is the exact kind GM uses (Strattec w/ matching FCC code for my make and model) purchased from amazingkeys.com. I supplied Amazingkeys.com with the key code and they cut the blade for me as well. However, when I took the key to the dealer to program it they were having problems and said it wasn't programming. It's a simple process to program. Just put the old key in and turn to the "on" position until the security light turns off. Then do the same with the New key and then it should be programmed but it wasn't. The cut of the key works fine it's just the chip that is not taking the correct programming.

Any thoughts?

I would have spent the extra money and bought it from the dealer .
You had to go there anyway for programing. Now you have to send it back .

Yeah, I hate being held hostage by the dealer but I probably should have gotten one through them in the first place. Bummer for me.
