Hi All,

I've had my 2025 ACTIV for just over a year and noted that the strength of the fan to push cold or warm air seems to be weak. In order to have any kind of push I have to turn the fan up to about 3/4 at the top end of the range. Is this specific to my vehicle or have others also experienced this with theirs? I'm trying to figure out whether I should have the dealership take a look or whether it's something I have to live with. Thanks much for your insight.

How many miles on the vehicle?

Have you checked or changed your cabin HVAC air filter? GM specifies 22,500 miles for the change, but I usually change mine at about 15,000 miles (3 GM vehicles with cabin air filters).

The filter is very easy to change and instructions are contained in the vehicle owner’s manual (available on line). If you live in a dusty area or one with high pollen, the filters seem to clog before the change interval, which reduces the HVAC air flow.
