For those of you like me who have an iPhone and use Apple CarPlay I recently discovered something I wasn't aware of. As most of you may know CarPlay can't manipulate any of the vehicle functions. However, I discovered that I could turn on the Google Assistant. With that enabled I can now use voice commands for the various A/C functions by single pressing the Voice Command button on my steering wheel versus holding it down until Siri responds. Doing this allows me to say things like, "Increase fan to max", "Set fan up/down by 1", "Set driver seat (or passenger seat) cooling to max", etc. I haven't done any additional testing yet, but I will post if I can access other functions this way. Again, to activate just press and release the Voice Command button on your steering wheel and Google Assistant will ask how it can help.
On a related Google note, the other thing I wasn't originally aware of were the additional apps available if you open the Google Playstore on the Infoentertainment center. I discovered this awhile back when others were mentioning they could now access several streaming services when the 'Nox is parked. Initially I couldn't find them and then in digging around is when I discovered the Google Play store and there they were along with other apps.
I hope this helps those of you out that like me, didn't think to look at the Google options being an iPhone user.
