Update Map

Hello all,

I am want to update the GPS map on my 2013 equinox, GM stops selling the update for 2013. I like the vehicle integrated map system versus the stand alone version of phone or GPA navigation. What are some of my options and how to accomplish the update?

I had the same issue on my 2013 - Chevy briefly released an update 3 or 4 years ago, then stopped selling it. The 2013 Nav unit is a bit of a unicorn- it is different from all other years.

My solution was to buy my 2022 RS .... lol

Sorry, that's isn't much help. The updates are coded for your serial number so you can't find one for sale online and just use it. There are no update paths currently and doubt there will be. The only thing you can do is keep checking the Nav update site and see if Chevy makes one available again.

And the 2013 doesn't support Android Auto, so again you are stymied.
