This is serious answer, my 2014 Terrain 2.4 is same as equinox. I bought my Terrain around 3 years ago, dealer had reset the computer. A few days later, every few starts it would stall after about 15-20 seconds. Once it stalled, would run fine and stall on next start. Warm cold did not matter, then it started stalling every start, for 9 months I tried to pin down issue, my 2.4 has 60k original miles, when I bought it, was around 40k. I replaced vvts, plugs, maf, throttle body, ran good fuel system cleaner, new air filter, oil, checked pvc 100% clean. After 9 months seen a guy in YouTube say he had same issue, then one say he added 6-8oz of Bardahl no smoke+ and stopped his stalling, so I tried it, my 2.4 never stalled for 11 months, I changed oil month ago, stall returned right away, added the no smoke stall stopped again. Don't know why it works, but works great. Others tried stp oil treatment and worked also. I just tried bardahl no smoke since original video guy used that. Forgot to add, when computer reset after buying I had a 02 code, replaced 02 also, farthest one from engine. People think it's crazy when I say the oil thickener works, but does and is like $7 and can do 2 to 3 treatments.
