Well, I'm back and am sorry to have missed so much. I have several Equinox threads I need to start. It's been quite a summer, but I'm ready to get back in the game! Good to see you Ghost! Hope you are well. Where's old Dietz at???

No, I haven't seen the new look yet. It's great! I really like it!!!

I've just been traveling alot for work, getting settled in to the new house, lots of family stuff, etc, etc. Life is just plain crazy! But I'm trying to slow down a little now.......

We're making it out here, but it sure is dry. Way more oil than water out here in West Texas. Sure could use about 20 inches of rain.

we are at stage 1 water restriction as of the Aug 30, will not take much more and it will be stage 2.

We are on severe water restrictions out here. Very bad. But no fires out west for now. Everything is in East or South Texas. We had all of our major fires a couple of months ago. It's been really bad.....

The north east is under water and we can not get a drop.
I hate to say it but we need a CAT 3 hurricane to hit Texas .

I hate to say it too, but you are exactly right. A big hurricane hitting the Texas coast and coming directly through the middle of the state sure would be a drought killer.

Yes it would, at least till next year at this time.
They say it could stay like this for a long time.

Yep, they say La Nina may form again and we'll stay in a drought for 6 more months.
