Rear liftgate panel removal for backup camera install-2005 Equinox

I've got a 2005 Chevy Equinox LT. With an aftermarket HU (Pioneer) working fine.

I'm wanting to install a BOYO rearbackup camera (the kind that goes on the license plate).

Anyone know how to remove the inside rear liftgate panel so I can run the wires?

If I remember correctly, there are a couple pop clips along the outside and a few screws.

yeah its just clips, it comes off in two pieces if you need it to, youll be able to see where it splits, but the bottom half will get you right to the license plate. I have to remove mine to put license plate lights in because the previous owner stripped the bolts on the outside lol
