No electrical after crank!

My husband and I just purchased a 2007 Chevy Equinox. When you put the key in the ignition in auxiliary mode. All the lights on the dashboard Everything works fine. After you crank it, it runs fine but you no longer have any dash lights. No power to anything. Does anybody have any idea what is causing this? The radio and heat still work.

I also replied to your other post, my suggestion was the ignition switch. Perhaps spray some electrical cleaner in there and work the key back and forth a bit. Worth a try
