Hi..... I have a 2016 Equinox. When the temperature outside goes cold like below zero the idle speed goes up to 800 rpm and stays there. During warmer weather it stays at 600 rpm which is normal. Anybody have any ideas?

Ok... Thanks Vern............Will try and follow this up.
Good luck with it. The reason I say the MAF, it senses temperature and adjusts for the density of the air. If it doesn't adjust it is logical that it would change the idle. Usually fuel economy will suffer if the MAF is bad, too.

that sound normal when the engine is cold it actually should be 1100 to 1200 rpm and then when warm close to 750 rpm. so it sounds like the idle is not high enough.
