Hi! I've got a question about my parent's 2016 Equinox LT, 2.4L.
Long story short, it needs a new heater core.
I'm a fair shade tree mechanic, but I don't think I'm up to the 'pull everything forward of the seats' replacement program.
I've seen multiple You Tube videos on replacing the core by cutting the tubes and sliding it out to the left, which I think I AM up to.
Question: all of the videos I've seen are for 1st gen Equinoxes. . . .does anybody know if this is doable on a 2nd gen?

Thanks!

Well we plunged in and found the answer. This DOES work on the 2nd generation Equinox, although there are some differences in how the gas pedal and brake pedal assemblies mount. Saves a huge amount of time, as the 'book' says that everything between the windshield and the seats has to come out to do this job.
