2026 Chevy Equinox

I just purchased a 2026 Chevy equinox LT. When approaching my car that’s been sitting a while. I get a hydraulic lift sound. I brought it to the dealer. They said this was normal. Is anybody else experiencing this sound?

Yes, it senses when the keys are nearby. It's a proximity wake-up.

Theres a setting for that about approaching the car with key fob look on utube about about removeing this

It's a motion sensor alert. Do the lights accessory lights come on as well? I have an RS that reacts every time it senses motion around it.

I can hear the fuel pump pressurizing the system for start when the key is recognized. Great idea instead of waiting for the start button.

That "feature" is the most annoying thing about this vehicle.
