Just picked up a 2026 Equinox Mid Night edition on Wednesday 5/6/26. Drove the car home happy as can be. The next day and to this day afits parked in garage over night when I pull out and for a few turns I’m hearing water swishing around in the dash board. Seems to be only days I run the ac. Anyone else have this problem or have any idea what it could be. I’m thinking the ac drain line might be crimped. Thanks

I’m bringing it in this Friday. But you know how dealers are! Just want an idea in my head, and wanted to see if anyone had same problem.

Yep most likely your A/C isn't draining. I have had this issue once or twice in the past but never to the point of having sloshing water inside the dash. Check your carpets because when I pulled away quickly or pulled away while heading up hill I got water inside the car. The dealership should know exactly what this is right away. Also that standing water will start smelling like mildew after a while so you need to handle it.

Thanks. Luckily no water on carpet.
I had a fairly new S10 truck with a water leak and the carpet was dry. My wife could smell it so the dealer pulled back the carpet and found the pad soaked.
They replaced it under warranty and were able to fix the leak.
