The weather has just recently become cold enough I no longer need the AC, and have begun to use the heater. My previous experience with my older vehicles was that water only drained when the AC was turned on. I knew this was completely normal, and just the function of the system. if I turned the AC button off, there would be no more water dripping.
I had been out and about just the other day, but when I parked back at home, I noticed a steady trail of what appeared to be water dripping from under the Nox, all the way along my long driveway. Quite a steady drip by the look of the spacing of the drops, and a surprisingly large quantity.
Now I don't know this vehicle well enough yet to know if perhaps the evaporator or the AC is always on, even when using the heater, or not. Even though it had been raining the night before, I can't imagine that this would still be rainwater draining from somewhere after driving around for several miles.
Does anyone know what the story is on the A/C- heater system on these vehicles?
