I have a 2018 Diesel that has done approximately 50,000 miles. Over the last 15,000 or so, it has become increasingly noisy in the top-end. Previously I could barely hear the engine at idle (from inside the cabin) now it is rattling like an old clunker.
I’m concerned that this is either a problem with the lifters, or the Timing Chain problems I have heard so much about.
Is there anything adjustable in the valve train, that they should be servicing?
Has anyone had similar problems with this engine?
