I have a 2014 Equinox with the white diamond tricoat finish and I'm now noticing more and more small rust spots. I've read it could just be rail dust and that a clay bar could take care of it but I had a friend look at it and he said the rust is under the clear coat. He thinks its a bad paint job from the factory so I was wondering if anyone else had a similar issue with this color. It sucks since it was a $995 option and I'm afraid it's only going to get worse.
