turning 2025 equinox to "on" position

In many "how to videos" they suggest turning the car to "on" position without starting the car. How do I do this on a 2025 equinox?

Don't put your foot on the brake.

Push the start button without putting your foot on the brake pedal and hold it till the green light comes on the start button.

No brake, press the button for 5-10 seconds
It will time out at some point. You can extend it if necessary but eventually it will shut down. Then just start over again. I had a major problem with OnStar and believe it or not I spent hours in the car talking to OnStar.

Press the start button for about a fast count of 10 but don't touch the brake.
