I had a 2020 Equinox that I relly enjoyed and used to post on here.
I picked up a2023 blazer that I love, but the trans failed at 21,050 miles, and I now have a 2025 Equinox as my rental.
It's bigger and rides nicer, but also heavier and less tossable.
Overall a real nice vehicle except... I use turn signals and my wife mentioned where is the horse?
It could be just us, but now everytime I use the signals all I can think of is a clopping horse, or the serf in Monty Python's Holy Grail with the two coconuts to mimick the horse sound.
And I cannot turn it off or down.

Are you saying the 2025 Equinox does not make a turn signal click sound, or it's just a quieter sound?

It is not a click, it is similar to what Lee posted but lower in tone and a slower cadence, I'll record it and paste in a day or two.
I giggle every time I use the damn thing, soon to turn into cursing instead.

I've never heard a '25. My '24 perfectly mimics the "blinker blinker" sound from the old physical blinker modules.

And that Python clip made me laugh. They were strange, but hilarious. :)

Sorry, I tried to upload the .wav file but it is not a supported format on this forum.

I also use mine all the time but you are definitely right about the sound. It reminds me of a horse clip clopping. However my 14 Equinox gave me quite a few beeps to remind me that my signal has been on a long time. It hasn't happened once on my new one since you can't miss the sound on the 2025.
Anyway keep on using your turn signal it could easily help you avoid an accident especially the way people are driving because The Police have almost vanished. I had two idiots go past me yesterday racing on 95 North in MD. They were easily doing 100MPH and moving across lanes trying to get ahead of each other.

NOW I understand what y'all are referring to. My cousin just bought a new '26 Silverado, and the blinkers are most definitely "clip clop". Very odd.

Yeah, and you can't un hear it.
While my Blazer was being repaired I was given a brand new Equinox as a loaner... nice vehicle but not impressed, the Silverado with the turbo 4 was a much nicer drive but these new trucks are just too high for my taste.
And BOTH had that clop clop clop turn signal.
They should give you an option to change it... or send the engineers involved to Yugo.
