I purchased a 2011 Equinox LT2 new four years ago. It currently has 81,000 miles on it. In February, the engine had to be rebuilt (warranty) due to a catastrophic timing chain failure leading to bent valves and a host of other issues. This week, the transmission failed leading to either a rebuild or replacement (again, warranty). I LOVE my Equinox, and we had planned on driving this one for a long time. I feel like the signs are there to get out of this one. Any thoughts? Assuming the new engine and transmission work the way they are supposed to, it's like a new car, right?
