tool for front license plate

Hello all,
Our '09 Equinox has a cracked front license plate holder (which we don't need in Pennsylvania). I want to remove it, but the 4 screws are of an unusual type with three flanges 120 degrees apart.

Does anyone know, is there a special tool for removing these screws?

can you take a picture? usually GM's have regular screws or torx
