There are plenty of tunes out there, but I would think about starting smaller. Driving style is huge. I would have much better gas mileage if i didn't keep my foot in the turbo all the time. Maybe try a fuel additive. GM makes on that will clean injectors. I use the lucas brand, but any that you want to use. I'm not sure how many miles you have but above 50,000, you may want to consider cleaning the throttle body.

I also try for better mpg but suffer the same leadfoot issue Vern has lol

But my mileage isn't terrible, I average about 8L/100km. Honestly, that's how they measure it in Canada - translates to 29.4 mpg. That's about half hwy, half city. My best is @ 40 mpg.

Am trying for better mpg..has anyone tried having the computer tuned on a dyno and reprogrammed ?
Don't fool around with the computer it's a road to disaster and seriously you'll gain nothing. Just drive with respect, avoid hard acceleration and what I do is use Lucas Upper Cylinder Lubricant on a regular basis which increased horsepower .

This is an old post. It would have been much more effective if the OP had posted back with more info, such as what MPGs is he getting? What type of driving does he do? etc..etc..
