My key has four buttons - [unlock] - [lock] - [blank] - [alarm]. The Third key has no label and afaict, it also has no function. However, there -is- a button there, so I am wondering if it is optional for newer models to open the trunk. Is there a known resource where a key can be fashioned where one of the buttons might be able to be programmed to the garage door? Would Chevy know more about this?
