Power source for dash cam

2019 Equinox LT, where is the best and easiest spot to access full time power and engine running power for the install of a dash camera. Thanks

At the beginning of the consol, on the dash, there is a recess, In that recess is a power outlet that accommodates a cigarette lighter type plugin. The other end of you cable that comes off the dash cam, goes in the side or bottom of your camera. Now here's the neat thing about this power connection, when you turn the car off, so goes the power off. Now you don't have to worry about... "did I unplug my camera's power supply?" Also, just to the upper left of that cigarette lighter power outlet is a USB outlet, if your camera setup has only a USB connection for power.
