Nice day

Spent 3 hours walking around in the woods down at the park today.
Sure was nice, maybe a little warm because I worked up a sweat by the time I got back to the truck.

Lets see.
1 Wood duck in the pond.
1 Coopers Hawk
1 Redtail Hawk
3 Black Vulture that seemed to be giving the evil eye.
1 Armadillo
2 Opossums

It was 81 degrees here today, which normally would be nice but the wind was blowing like hell and there was a terrible dust storm.

Take some pics of all that cool wildlife!

I used to take the camera with me all the time but it's kind of got to the point were I'm not sure I should. I seen some people there that makes you want to grab the gun and take the safety off.
That and they are destroying my one favorite spot.

Every so often one of the doves flies into my bed room window, doves are not real smart.
So this morning I hear this strange thump, so I jump out of bed and grab my camera and run outside.
I was just a little slow as I see a coopers hawk flying off with the dead dove in it's talons and was not able to get a pic.
I did get a pic of some feathers.

Dang it
I hear the doves go crazy and I run out side and like yesterday the cooper hawk flies off and I just miss getting a pic of him.
