I/m readiness

I h have a 2018 equinox that the evap system readiness says “not ready” we put a battery in it a couple months ago but my wife only drives a couple miles or so per da. Today we drove about 30 miles to go grocery shopping then back home thinking that would do the checks but it didn’t. Does any know how long it takes? Car needs to be inspected at the end of this month and I don’t think it will pass in NY. 7 out of the 8 I/m readiness codes are ok but the evap is not
