How do I connect My Phone to My Equinox without using Bluetooth?

I own a 2014 Equinox that does not have bluetooth

It does have a USB port, but no AUX jack anywhere in the car (that I can find)

How do I connect my HTC ONE M8 smartphone, to the car so I can listen to music?

The HTC One M8 uses MTP, which only a few newer cars support. I'm not sure of the 2014 Nox supports it, as my 2010 does not have a USB port for me to try. It will work with iPhones, but the only way to see if it'll work with an Android that uses MTP is to try it yourself.

I think the usb port in the center console supports android! Correct me if I am wrong... My 2010 I know for sure does not but the newer mylink worked better with android than apple!
