I recently bought a 2011 Eqinox LT1 AWD, 2.4L.(52000km)..I notice that the RPMs go as high as 3.5 when starting off at a light. If i do a fast take off the RPMs go as high as 5+ . Is this normal. is it because it's a DOHC engine? It idles at 2+ when cold and 0.9 when warm..in regular driving it stays at around 2 or just below..
