High Mileage on my 2018

I also have a 2018, it’s a 1.5 turbo. I bought it in 2019 with 25k miles and it’s about to roll over 270k!
Factory front brakes
Replaced rear brakes, alternator, battery and tires of course. Regular oil changes
For the last 6 months the check engine light comes on indicating the turbo needs to be replaced.
It’s been a great vehicle, my husband is about to replace the turbo and his goal is to see 320k miles on it!

Is it an under boost code you are getting? Usually this throws the vehicle into limp mode.

Yes, P0299. We leave the code reader in and clear the code when it comes on. He’s replaced everything to do with the turbo other than the turbo hoping it would fix it but no luck. Took it to the dealership last week and they diagnosed it as a turbo replacement and wanted $3200 to replace it. With the high mileage it’s not worth that, so my husband is going to replace the turbo and fingers crossed that does it.
