I had mine replaced by the dealer @ 38500 miles. The noise is back @ 42000 miles. going back to dealer next week.

Does anyone know about the special coverage for the Balance Chain on the 2010 Equinox? The code number is 12313A.

The special warranty is for 10 years or 120000 miles .
It is for " pins in the chain " that may break ( timing ? ) and a " fuel plunger and seal " that may cause fuel to leak . The number of the " special warranty " is 12313.
It is for the 2.4 L only .
