Climate Control Question

Just a cosmetic question. Does anybody know why the Equinox does not have a 'Climate' app for the infotainment system? The Trailblazer has one and the Traverse has one. It seems odd that the Equinox would be skipped. Driving a 2022 LT

What does the Climate app do?

It's just a redundant app that gives you climate control options on the infotainment screen, it doesn't have any features that aren't available on the center stack. I'm just curious as to why some cars have it and some don't. So far it seems it's just the equinox and the Trax (before it's recent redesign).
