By reading the article, that is an excersize in efficiency and sportiness. IIRC, its a 1.9L Turbo Diesel. Do want.

Maybe weight, they are after mpg.

^ They were after MPG while still being fun but I'd guess that theres no reason to spend the extra $$ on the sport version when the heart of it was going to be removed anyway.
