On the older cars, as you would turn the ignition key to the very first postion, the accessories - electrical, would come on. The radio was always my reason for doing this when the car wasn't running.
On my 2023 Equinox LT, when I press the ignition button, and I do not press the brake pedal, this acts like the Accessory selection, and the radio comes on, as will all the other electrical features. I'm sure this is in the owner's manual somewhere.
