Both Onstar blue button and android navigation will not connect. Apple car play navigation works ok. Tried a reset but that does not help.

Suggest you see if the locator on the map is accurate to where you are. There's a telematrix module that's been failing. The first thing you see is OnStar not working, it can't pinpoint where you are. The other indicator is the display doesn't show posted speed limit any longer. I had one fail not long ago.

Here's the history of my OnStar module saga:

12/22/25 - OnStar module failed.
1/14/26 - Appointment at dealer. Verified module was bad. New module ordered, on back-order at least two weeks.
2/5 - New module arrived at dealer.
2/10 - New module installed at dealer.
3/18 - Received message on info screen: OnStar service has expired!?!?!? WTF! Apparently I was on a trial plan with the new module and my eight year OnStar Basics plan was never updated with the new module.
3/18 - Called OnStar support. Issue opened.
3/24 - Called OnStar support. No update on issue. Issue escalated to level three. Receive a 30 day trial for OnStar One plan. Trial set to expire on 4/23.
4/10 - Called OnStar support. No update on issue.
4/20 - Called OnStar support. No update on issue. OnStar One trial extended another 30 days to 5/23.
4/30 - Called OnStar support. No update on issue. Recommended dealer visit.
4/30 - Visited dealer and discussed with service manager. He said OnStar service was terrible. "I know who to call. It will be fixed by the end of the day." I'm still on the OnStar One trial until 5/23.
5/18 - I noticed that the OnStar One trial was somehow extended a third time to 6/12 and my eight year OnStar Basics plan was extended by 14 months to 5/12/2034!?!? Another WTF!

There were also several calls to OnStar via the On Star button in the car.

So, I still don't know if my OnStar Basics plan is fixed or not. I'll have to wait until June 12 to see. I really DO NOT want to call OnStar support again. If it's not fixed, I'll go see the dealer again.

Yes I had the same issue, no maps or Google. Press the OnStar button and see if they can give you your current location. I was in front of my home and they had me miles away. Needed a new module and that put me back in business.

My OnStar One trial ended on 6/13. My OnStar Basic is still working! YAY!

I wish I would have talked to the service manager at the beginning of this mess instead of the useless OnStar support.

Yep, On Star can't help much with the telematrix module. Mine was on backorder for weeks. Dealer told me upfront there would be a long wait. I had a crankcase sensor fail. Backordered again. I just erased the fault and kept driving but it got more frequent. Checked the part number on the engine. Found one right away; $24. Ordered. Got it next day. Installed it. No more fault codes. Let my service rep know so he could give mine to someone else. He said good it's fixed and bad his own parts folks couldn't find one. I'm not sure the telematrix module would be so easy. Good luck.
