My technically 2nd Mod, installed Non OEM Mud Guards I found on Amazon with custom fit for 2025+ Chevrolet Equinox (mine is an Activ).
They fit like the OEM, like a glove. They also use the two factory screws that are part of the wheel liner, closest to the lower wheel fender molding. They also come with c-clips (two for the front, one for the rear) which helps keep the Mud Guards snug to the fender molding.
What i didn't like, was thank God I had to take off the rear wheels to install the Mud Guards. I honestly think the lug nuts were torqued to shy of 80 lbs/ft, I kid you not.
I swapped out the locking lug nuts and put back the regular lug nuts that the vehicle came with. Re-torqued to 140 lbs/ft as that is what I found after googling various sites.
Cheers,
