Hi everyone! This is my first post. My son has a 2013 Equinox with 2.4 engine. 42,350 miles. Due to poor oil maintenance, I have found that the PVC hole is clogged. When you look in oil cap I get positive blow back. Also the inside of the engine looks extremely dirty. I can hear what sounds like a very loud rocker tik. I'm going to replace the intake manifold and while I was at it I want to check the rockers for excess play and clean the top of the head. Where is the valve cover on this motor and how can I access it?
I'm going to replace the serpentine belt and tensioner because of age.
