Remote outside mirror switch and control

Does anyone know on a 2011 is the remote mirror switch supposed to light up along with the window switches ?
Mine does not and I have nothing to compare it to .
It does light up on my 2011 Malibu .

Anyway the answer to your question is no it does not light up.

Thanks ,although I think it is odd . My Malibu use's the same switch and it does light up .

It would be nice if it did, then again I do not mess with them once I get them set.

That is exactly how we noticed it doesn't light .
I drove there ,she drove home (after dark) and could not see the switch.
After fumbling around a few seconds ,she turned on the interior lights.
