Got the ALERT - Power Reduced with engine light. It then says "do not shut off engine. REGEN in progress. Keep driving and "Drove at 50 - 60 mph for one hour and REGEN would not complete.
I had this problem at 10,000 miles. I have 90,000 now. Dealer had to do a force REGEN and charged me diagnostic time even though it was within the 50,000 EPA warranty.
Known problem. Just wished I had a CAN buss tool that would force a REGEN.
The Canadians have a delete kit for this. OR - I have to take the soot cannister apart and manually clean.
