2024 Equinox RS.
Has anyone ever run into this. I was driving and then the power liftgate switch off warning pop up on the dash and won't not go away. It will disappear for 1 sec and then come back. Even dismissing the warning did nothing. Parked it and it kept showing the warning. I left it for 15 mins and came back and it was still going off. I had the doors locked like normal. I even disconnected the terminal to the battery hoping that it would reset. I finally had to pull out the liftgate module fuse from the driver side compartment. It would not stop ringing. I called the dealer but they are booked for a week. With the fuse out, I cannot use the liftgate and not sure what else. I haven't driven it yet since it was late and just had to stop the warning alert. Thanks in advance if anyone has any insight.

Update: I took it to the dealer and they could not replicate or find the issue. There were a lot of codes but nothing to pinpoint the error.

Maybe pulling the fuse for a day reset it. I could open it with the switch on the door, outside the liftgate and remote without an isuse now.

Stay tuned...

What year is your Nox? if a 2022, still likely too soon to expect battery issues, although possible.

BTW, yours appears to be Iron Grey like mine, you don't have red outline door badges, do you?

I have a 2024 NOX RS version. Black. No red badges. The wheels are like a charcoal gray. Only 1800 miles so not the battery.

I have to wait for it to happen and then drive it over to the dealership while it is happening. Hopefully pulling the liftgate module fuse for a day reset the issue.

I hope your pulling the fuse fixed it, or the dealer can see it and fix it quickly.

I asked about the door badges because my RS seems to be a unicorn in that i have the older Redline style door badges. I have looked and asked and no one else seems to have them. I love the way they look and I am sure it will boost my resale values by at least a nickel! lol

Hey Rick - this just happened to my car. Im no car guy so not even going to try to fix this myself right now. But it’s been like 3 hours and I just went and checked and the message is still coming up even with the car completely off. Did what you did fix this for good? Did you have the issue again? Please let me know.

After removing the fuse for the night, it hasn’t happened again. The dealer can’t do anything unless it is happening and then you have to bring it to them right away.
