LED backup bulbs

Replaced stock 921 bulbs with CANBUS LEDs. They work really well BUT the bulbs stay on in a dim mode when they should be off. I replaced one LED with the stock 921 and all is good except I really want the LED to work. That they work with one LED and one stock
bulb indicates a resister is needed? The LED are Torchbeam 921 replacement that are CANBUS error free units

I have a 2024. Replaced Backup bulbs with Oxilam from Amazon. Don't need resistors.

Yeah I just replaced the backup bulbs with Lasfit led on a used 2016 equinox I just purchased, no issues with them staying on or dimly lit.

May have to look at another brand. The ones I have are bright and may find a home in my elderly RV which is not so fussy about LEDs.
