Hi,
I have a 2006 equinox LS, with the factory 16" aluminum wheels that are in rough shape. I can buy a set of the factory 17" wheels from an 08 in near perfect condition for next to nothing (without rubber). The correct tire size to use on those wheels is 235/60 R17. It's much cheaper and easier to get 235/65 R17's. Other than the small difference in speedometer reading, will there be any interference issues with the slightly larger tire? If anyone has done this please let me know. Thanks!

I have 235/70/16 tires on my equinox. They fit fine. Are 1” taller then stock

Also found a similar set for a torrent. 5 spoke but spoke profile is different. I usually don’t come across 2 sets at once.

I picked up a set of 17" 5 spoke from an 08. Just got the new tires too. All still sitting in my garage. Hopefully installing this week.

I got them to flip. The 2nd set is $175 but not really worth it if I sell them for $300 or so. Is 3-4 hrs effort worth $125?D592EE33-76B4-44D4-B5B6-8DDD2A116553.jpeg

I like these wheels and might try them. Always seems to improve my sale efforts. Then I have to take them off car for new buyer. My current tires are 4% larger than stock and these are 3% smaller. As an aside.

I drive local <50mph and no tpms light. Wife drove on hwy @60mph+ and she got light. I drove several days later and light is off. I did not try to do a tpms relearn. Maybe I should try and see if system recognizes sensors?
