I went with the Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus 3 on the car as I got a $100 discount if I got them online through Discount Tire. The difference with the very used Michelins that were on there was night and day as they are very grippy on dry. The fuel mileage with the new tires has actually went down for the moment, but I will keep an eye on it to see if it does go up.I have run Pirelli tires on many vehicles and feel they are VERY GOOD tires. I live in Minnesota and ran a set of All Weather(different from all season) Pirelli tires on my diesel pickup. I was impressed by their traction in the ice and snow. About 75% of the traction of actual winter tires for the truck. On my cars the Pirelli were just fine for all conditions and they last a very long time. Their tread wear warranty is serious and they will run that 70,000 miles.
