Fumoto oil change valve

Just bought a 2027 and honestly haven't looked under it yet. Anyone install a fumoto oil change valve? These valves facilitate DIYers oil changes. Their site show the threads are M12-1.75 on a 2026 model. 2027 isn't shown yet but guessing it fits the 2027. My question is was an adapter required to space out the valve from the crank case?

I'm fortunate that my car comes with free oil changes for life through my dealer, but that sounds like a neat feature.

Adapter to space the valve from the CC? Not sure what you mean there.

I've run 2-3 Fumotos over the years, but this was on trucks and SUVs with more ground clearance.

I'm not overly familiar with the latest gen Equinox, but I believe the oil pan and drain plug location on the LSD 1.5 should be the same from 2018+.

On some configurations the drain plug is recessed and the fumoto valve can't be screwed into the drain plug hole. There's a spacer that moves the valve out about an 1in that allows it to be screwed in. I've been under the weather and too lazy to get under and look. I seached the forum but didn't see any info on fumoto
