Looking over my collection of OMs, I see the Equinox is not dinghy towable starting with the 2025 models which is something I'm interested in.

If it can only tow 1500 lbs, 2 passengers and luggage will take off about 50% of the gross vehicle weight. That'll make the towing weight less than any trailer except an empty utility trailer. Anything else could be an overload. I have a Traverse and without the full tow package it can only tow 3,000. That's why I have a pick up. The tow hitch on the Equinox, in my opinion, should only be used for accessories like bike racks, hitch carriers, etc.
