In temps under 35 F or so, my driver side window sticks going up at about the 1/3 to 1/2 point from the bottom. Pushing the button a second time sometimes works but the colder the weather, the more often I have to pull the window up by hand to get it moving. Is this a lubrication issue or do I need a new operator?

It could be lack of lubrication. Does the motor sound louder than others when rolling up?
Something to consider various rust proof companies will drill a hole into the door and spray oil into the door panel. That displaces moisture and lubricates internals. I suppose that is a double quick win for your situation if it is due to lack of lubrication.
