2011 equinox lt awd Back up camera/ rear view camera (rvc)

I have a 2011 equinox it awd. I know nothing about this vehicle. The back up camera is there. But the car doesn't acknowledge it when it put it in reverse..
I checked for a fuse, it's good. So where can I go from here? I didn't see a button for it and their are NO setting in the menu (unless I'm missing it).
Any help is appericated!

Does your Infotainment screen disappear or goes black or remain the same when you put it in reverse. I had a corrosion issue on my 2012 this summer, and it would not show, just a blank screen. Fixed by cleaning all the connectors, and corrosion around the camera in the rear hatch.
