2.0t gas mileage

i’m rather impressed with the mileage so far on my 2.0t awd went 331.3 miles a mix of 50% highway and 25% 45-55mph country roads and 25% city vehicle showed 27.5 mpg i hand calculated 27.816 mpg using 11.91 gallons

it was still partly the first and of gas and the dealer said it doesn’t require premium so i’m sure they put the cheapest possible gas in it i had topped off before the trip with shell 87 octane and reset the trip meter at that point

update: this tank had 7.6 gallons of 93 in it the rest was remaining 87 there was 120 miles of interstate speeds the rest was country roads and city with a bunch of hills (northwestern pa) the first trip i didn’t floor it once and i was trying to let it break in this tankful there was several heavy acceleration pulls. id say premium def yields better fuel economy just can’t say exactly how much. either way the numbers i’m seeing are a lot better than my ‘15 with the 2.4 it would average 24-25mpg on the same trips
