19 Equinox car alarm

So recently my wife’s car alarm has been going off randomly. It has previously been in an accident on the pass side not bad but had to have both doors replaced. Have replaced key fob batteries, the 12v battery is in good health but still factory. Two times the vehicle says theft attempt. So I remove the key cover lock and unlock vehicle with key. Helped for a week or so but has just happened again. It looks as if the pass door near the bottom doesn’t look as close as the rest but still decently tight. I’m at a loss as to why this is happening and don’t want to take it to Chevy and have them say nothings wrong knowing it’s under warranty. I work at a dealership but nobody wants to touch it because it’s a Chevy lol idk why they say that… Please help!
