2024 RS drones at low speed

Hi,
We just took delivery on a 2024 rs. During our test drive we didn't notice, but on our way home we hear a very present drone that vibrates through your body. It happens at very low speed, maybe 10 mph tops.

Anybody experience this or have an idea what it could be?

Something rotational could be rubbing until it spins fast enough to move away. That's not normal, my guess would be a rubber or plastic part s metal on metal would be a higher pitched noise. Dealer may have heard it before, if you're lucky it could be something simple like there was something missed that was supposed to be removed after shipping during new car prep.

I noticed a "drone" in my 2024 LT between 35-40 mph in 6th gear. No drone when I shift to L5.

What color is your 2024 RS? Maybe we could trade as my 22 Iron Gray has no droning

The droning turned out to be from a loose tailgate hardware. There was a tsb out for it from 2020 and this seemed to be the same thing.

If you listen carefully its doing it in all gears and they cannot fix it and they sell thousands monthly even though they are aware of it! Evidently they think its ok! thx GM. Its just what a new car buyer wants in a new vehicle

What are you saying? It doesn't take a genius to notice that there isn't something seriously wrong with this engine.

I don't claim to be a genius, but I haven't noticed anything seriously wrong with this engine. I do have just a little experience with a few different engines. I have only owned four new cars in my 55+ years of driving, but probably over 40 used cars and trucks. My Equinox is a pretty good vehicle and I'm glad I bought it.
