Towing 2024 RS

I recently purchased a 2024 RS. Yesterday I had the base plate installed. I had the tow bar connected, performed a function check and drove the RV and RS 10 miles home without issue.
I have two questions: Do I need a toad charging system while towing and what is the easiest method to achieve this? Also, what type of chip protection (bra. windshield cover, etc.) is confidently used?
