I need help, I have permanent codes, P0016, P0011, P228D, and now P0097. I have changed and checked the timing setup, which is a new Cloyes set 5 times. That’s a complete teardown and reinstall of all chains, gears, and guides. Ive checked and double checked timing and still get the codes and rough idling before dying. Smells of gas and exhaust. Other then the timing components ive changed spark plugs, coil packs, valve cover, oil pan, oil pump plate, HP fuel pump roller cam, Intake cam, VVT solenoids, camshaft position sensor, oil, oil filter.
